||Hell of the West, there is something pretty cool about starting in the dark in a murky creek with the sun coming up and racing in the middle of nowhere, the locals really put in the effort as well.
|Hardest race you’ve had to get too
||Ironman 70.3 Championships in Zell am See, Austria – 40 hours of travel!! Brisbane to Singapore, Singapore to Helsinki, Helsinki to Munich, then a 3 hour drive onto Zell am See. Totally worth it though, most amazing bike course.
|Hardest race you’ve done
||Ironman 70.3 Vietnam in May 2016 was pretty tough, the heat and humidity was like no other. It was such a cool race and spot though, would do it again.
|Biggest rookie error
||Buying a wetsuit too big for me and wondering why I felt so uncomfortable in it for over a year.
|Best piece of racing or training equipment
||Love training on my S-Works Amira road bike in the off season or between races. Also my winter cycling gloves for when Brisbane gets ‘cold’.
