With 2015 now in full swing it’s been a busy few months planing travelling and training.
The first races of the year for the crew were the 70.3 Auckland,Robina GTS Gold Coast and Kurnell Sydney Tri series all on the same day. There were some fantastic results with everyone posting fantastic times and a few podium surprises
A few weeks later the friendliest triathlon in Australia, Hell of the West in Goondiwindi was on, so a small Swift crew made the trek to the QLD NSW border to race what is known as probably the most honest long course event in the country.
With great weather and conditions it was not just a fun weekend but there were 3 out of the 4 on the podium. Plus a massive PB over the long course distance.
The one thing that sticks is just how relaxed and friendly a race can be when you get people helping out really care about their community. The race is so well run with such a great spirit that you can see why people make the journey year after year.
