Pre Season training camp

Last weekend we had our first training camp for the up coming 2014/15 triathlon season in the amazing coastal town of Yamba, 8hrs from Sydney and 3hrs from Brisbane.  Around some of the most breath taking beaches and National park possible.

DCIM106GOPROWith over 20 athletes attending the 4 days it provided a good kick start to training and some much wanted time to prepare for races such as Challenge Goldcoast,Sunshine coast 70.3 and Kona amongst a few that are just around the corner.

Yamba and the surrounding areas turned on the perfect winter weather for the weekend and it consisted of some crystal clear ocean swims around the towns beaches and headlands

The weekend had 2 long rides leaving Yamba out over the channels and through the quiet cane field roads towards Broomshead, Maclean, Woodford island aswell as Angourie. It consisted of 120km and 150km which people were able to cut a bit shorter if they wanted.
